Nanny/Housekeeper for Family in North Leeds (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a warm, reliable nanny‑housekeeper to support a busy family in North Leeds (LS14). The primary focus is caring for their 2½‑year‑old son, Arthur, while also helping keep the household running smoothly. The position can be full‑time (35‑45 hrs/week) or part‑time (20‑30 hrs/week) and starts as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, loving care for Arthur, including nursery drop‑offs/pick‑ups, meals, naps, baths and bedtime routines.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate play, outings and activities.
• Maintain a tidy environment for the child – clean bedroom, toys and laundry.
• When Arthur is at nursery or asleep, perform general household tasks such as tidying, family laundry, dishwashing, light cleaning and organising deliveries.
• Occasional babysitting by prior agreement.

Required profile

• Genuine enjoyment of working with toddlers and a calm, practical approach.
• Trustworthy, punctual and able to travel reliably to the Scarcroft area.
• Valid driver’s licence preferred for nursery runs and errands.
• Flexibility to adapt to the family’s schedule and duties.

Required skills

• Basic child‑care techniques (feeding, nappy changing, safety awareness).
• Ability to prepare simple, healthy meals.
• Organisational skills for household management.
