National Account Manager – Grocery (Top 4 Retail)

About the role

We are looking for a National Account Manager to lead our grocery business for the UK’s #1 tomato brand. You will own the relationships with the Top 4 grocery retailers, drive commercial performance and shape the growth trajectory of a market‑leading product.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Top 4 grocery accounts end‑to‑end, including joint business plans, range reviews and promotional planning.
• Achieve commercial targets while operating autonomously.
• Identify market opportunities early and build compelling business cases.
• Collaborate with distributors and an internal team to ensure flawless execution.
• Develop deep customer insights and nurture relationships that open new doors.

Required profile

• Proven experience negotiating with Top 4 grocery buyers in the UK.
• Strong understanding of grocery retail dynamics, politics and last‑minute challenges.
• Ability to translate category data into actionable strategies.
• Self‑starter who treats accounts as a personal business.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with commercial sharpness; no hand‑holding required.
