National Account Manager – Seafood

About the role

Talent Guardian is seeking a dynamic National Account Manager to lead and expand high‑value seafood accounts across the UK. Based in Ruislip with field‑based travel, you will own multi‑site and national relationships in the hospitality and foodservice sector, targeting contract caterers, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, pubs and QSRs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, win and grow large‑volume national accounts from initial contact through full distribution.
• Develop and maintain head‑office relationships with buyers, food development, NPD, technical and supply‑chain teams.
• Lead tenders, central negotiations, listings, trials and multi‑site roll‑outs.
• Spot and shape new product development opportunities with chefs and R&D.
• Manage pipeline, lead generation and forecasting using CRM and market data tools.
• Maintain commercial rigour on margins, terms and forecasting.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years experience in national or key account management within foodservice supply.
• Proven track record of winning and rolling out multi‑site or national listings.
• Experience selling to QSR, pub, casual dining or large‑volume foodservice groups.
• Commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with strong margin focus.
• Knowledge of protein categories is a plus but not essential.

• Proficiency with CRM systems.

What we offer

• Base salary £55,000‑£70,000 plus commission (~10 % of profit generated).
• Potential earnings supporting a £1.2‑£1.5 m territory.
