NDA Motor Auditor – Technical & SLA Audits

About the role

The NDA Motor Auditor will lead the development, planning, execution and reporting of technical and SLA audits across the NDA Motor business unit. This position works closely with the Quality & Audit Manager, Unit Directors and Technical Manager to ensure audit standards are met and continuous improvement is driven.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake and lead internal technical & SLA audits for fast‑track and multi‑track matters using the approved framework.
• Conduct ad‑hoc and bespoke audits in line with firm policies and procedures.
• Build strong, independent relationships with key stakeholders while maintaining audit objectivity.
• Provide clear oral and written feedback on audit findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and communicate remedial action recommendations and monitor implementation.
• Identify opportunities to improve procedures, processes and competencies.
• Collaborate on training needs and skill‑gap analysis with senior managers.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Quality & Audit Manager.
• Ensure compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2011.

Required profile

• Proven experience in claims handling or a role within the insurance sector.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to develop effective business relationships while preserving audit independence.
