NDT Technician – Temporary Position in Hartlepool

About the role
This temporary position supports a large new project for a prestigious blue‑chip manufacturing client in Hartlepool. The role starts immediately and is ideal for candidates seeking a short‑term, hands‑on opportunity in non‑destructive testing.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily checks for ink concentration and magnet strength.
- Carry out Ultrasonic Magnetic Particle Inspection (UVMPI) using a Y6 magnetic yoke.
- Conduct Magnetic Particle Inspection and record all findings in the company’s internal computer system.
Required profile
- PCN Level 2 MPI qualification (essential).
- Experience operating a Y6 magnetic yoke.
- Ability to work quickly, meet daily targets and collaborate within a team.
- IT‑literate and comfortable using computer‑based reporting tools.
