.NET Web Developer

About the role

We are recruiting for an established UK‑based eCommerce business that serves customers and suppliers across the UK and Europe. The .NET Web Developer will join a small, enthusiastic technology team to develop and maintain a wide range of business‑critical applications and services.

Key responsibilities

• Produce reliable software solutions using C#.NET and related frameworks.
• Enhance existing applications and add new functionality based on business requirements.
• Develop, monitor and support APIs that connect internal applications with customers and external partners.
• Design and maintain database‑driven functionality using SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
• Integrate external data sources and supplier systems using JSON, XML and CSV formats.
• Trace and resolve issues related to application behaviour, data quality, performance and integrations.

Required profile

• Practical programming experience with C# or another object‑oriented language.
• Understanding of how modern websites and web applications are built.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Confidence working with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
• Methodical approach to diagnosing problems and identifying root causes.
• Ability to manage own workload while contributing positively within a small development team.

What we offer

• Salary £40,000‑£45,000 per year.
