Network Configuration Specialist – Service Delivery

About the role

This highly technical Service Delivery role enables the implementation of the latest technology to meet our customers' business needs. BT provides managed IT solutions to thousands of customers worldwide, relying on you to keep their critical operations running.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, test and troubleshoot complex network solutions.
• Translate customer requirements into accurate configurations, diagrams and instructions for other agents.
• Act as the point of technical escalation for complex issues within the team.
• Provide remote support to onsite engineers during solution deployment and issue resolution.
• Identify and implement efficient ways of working and cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Existing, or ability to obtain, Government Security Clearance and NPPV3.
• Proven network design, configuration and implementation experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on customer network deployments.
• Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Draytek, Meraki, Juniper, Palo Alto and Aruba.
• Commitment to proactive continual learning and development.
