Network Infrastructure Project Manager (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position is based in Milton Keynes and offers hybrid working with fully expensed travel to customer sites. You will lead a critical infrastructure project for a leading services provider to retail stores and banks, focusing on data cabling and communications cabinet installations across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and deliver network infrastructure projects, managing scope, budget and timelines.
• Coordinate site surveys and oversee the installation of structured cabling and communications cabinets.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors, providing regular progress updates.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing network infrastructure projects in retail or multi‑site environments.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling, network hardware and communications cabinet installations.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Prince2 or Agile project‑management methodologies.
• Technical certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are desirable but not essential.
