Network Operations Team Lead

About the role

Cellnex UK is seeking a Network Operations Team Lead to own a critical function that delivers service and security management across its UK portfolio, including tower infrastructure, in‑building solutions and small cells. The role sits at the heart of operations, ensuring customers receive high‑quality, resilient service through robust processes, strong supplier partnerships and effective contractual oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for managing Cellnex UK’s service and infrastructure portfolio, aligning with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Develop and operate a commercial and delivery framework covering contracts, suppliers and internal resources.
• Oversee the Cellnex UK Network Operations Centre (NOC) to ensure high service availability, operational resilience and continuous performance improvement.
• Deliver services in line with contractual commitments, meeting or exceeding SLAs and KPIs while respecting commercial, regulatory and contractual parameters.
• Manage end‑to‑end field maintenance service partners for in‑building and small‑cell portfolios, including RFQ sourcing, performance metric definition, service monitoring and continuous improvement programmes.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience managing day‑to‑day operations of a telecommunications or technology NOC.
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive performance improvements in a complex, multi‑vendor environment.
• Strong understanding of service delivery, supplier management and contractual oversight.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
