About the role
The Neurodevelopmental Service Administrator provides essential administrative support to the developing Neuro‑Developmental (ND) Service, helping families of children and young people access timely care. Working closely with the Operational Lead, the role ensures smooth service delivery and contributes to continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for families, handling enquiries with professionalism, empathy and sensitivity.
- Maintain accurate records, schedule appointments and manage service databases.
- Coordinate communication between clinical staff, families and external partners.
- Support the Operational Lead in reporting, data entry and service development projects.
- Assist with organising meetings, training sessions and service events.
Required profile
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and support distressed or anxious individuals.
- Commitment to confidentiality and data protection standards.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving service needs and contribute ideas for improvement.
