About the role

We are seeking a driven New Business Account Executive to grow a specialist commercial portfolio for a market‑leading Lloyd’s broker. You will work with qualified leads and re‑engage lapsed clients across property and commercial lines, building a book of business from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities in specialist commercial insurance lines.
• Work with qualified leads and re‑engage lapsed clients.
• Manage a mixed portfolio of property and commercial risks.
• Build relationships with businesses across specialist industries.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and present tailored solutions.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms.

Required profile

• Technically sound insurance professional confident in new‑business sales.
• Strong prospecting and networking abilities.
• Experience in commercial insurance, preferably with property exposure.
• Self‑motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Enjoys the challenge of building a portfolio from scratch.
