Night Assistant – Supported Housing

About the role

We are seeking a Night Assistant to work in our Camden supported housing service, providing 37.5 hours per week on a rota shift pattern. You will support vulnerable residents during night hours, helping them access services, manage finances and move towards independent living.

Key responsibilities

• Provide night‑time support to residents in a supported housing setting.
• Assist residents with employability coaching, benefits, money management and housing transitions.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required administrative tasks.
• Work flexibly, including lone working, to meet resident and business needs.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Empathetic, resilient and able to work as part of a team.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people, possibly through lived experience.
• Willingness to work flexible, night hours and occasional lone working.

Required skills

• Record‑keeping and basic administrative abilities.
