Night Auditor

About the role

Join the night team at Ibis Cambridge Central Station and be the first point of contact for late‑arriving guests and early‑departing guests. You will ensure smooth financial reconciliation, support hotel operations, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere throughout the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures with a friendly attitude.
• Perform the nightly audit, reconcile revenue, and post daily financial reports.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports to internal departments.
• Manage reservation details and guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide food and beverage service during the night shift.
• Maintain safety, security, and fire‑safety procedures for guests and staff.
• Clean and upkeep public areas such as the lobby, bar, and staff zones.
• Assist other departments in preparing for the next day’s operations.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently on night shifts (10:45 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and respect for guest confidentiality.
• Fluent English language proficiency.

Required skills

• Experience with Property Management System software, preferably OPERA Cloud.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
