Night Care Assistant

About the role
Join the Cheriton care home team as a Night Care Assistant, providing compassionate support to residents during the night shift. No prior experience is required – we offer full training and a supportive environment where your kindness can truly make a difference.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality personal care and assistance to residents throughout the night.
- Support medication administration and accurately record any observations.
- Help residents with daily living activities, routines, and personal hygiene.
- Promote dignity, independence, and well‑being by fostering meaningful relationships.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship during night hours.
Required profile
- Kind, patient and motivated to help others.
- Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Willingness to work alternating weekends and night shifts.
- Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
Required skills
- None – full training will be provided.
What we offer
- Fully funded training and qualifications up to QCF Level 5.
- £12.76 per hour.
- 24‑hour weekly schedule with alternating weekends.
- Refer‑a‑Friend scheme (up to £1,000 bonus).
