Night Care Assistant

About the role
We are looking for a Night Care Assistant to join our team at Bearehill Care Home in Brechin. You will provide compassionate, person‑centred care throughout the night shift, supporting residents with their daily needs and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personal care (bathing, dressing) to residents during night hours.
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
- Monitor nutrition and hydration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Follow care plans and record observations.
- Report any changes in condition to senior staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Required profile
- Caring and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
- Previous experience beneficial but not essential.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
What we offer
- £13.60 per hour.
- 44 hours per week (full‑time).
- Paid PVG pension.
- Uniform provided.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full‑time contract).
- Full training and ongoing development.
