Night Care Assistant

About the role

Join the award‑winning team at Bagshot Gardens Care Home as a Night Care Assistant. You will work the 19:00‑07:30 shift, providing compassionate personal care and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene while maintaining dignity and independence.
• Monitor clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and signs of infection, escalating concerns promptly.
• Treat residents and visitors courteously, respecting each individual's dignity.
• Follow safe working practices for all tasks performed during the night shift.

Required profile

• Demonstrates caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable values.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Initiative, respect for residents and colleagues, and ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to adapt to short‑notice responsibilities.
