Night Care Assistant

About the role

Glenholme Healthcare is recruiting a Care Assistant for its new Wendreth Court care home in March, Cambridgeshire. The post is full-time, 33 hours per week, at £13 per hour, and covers night shifts. No experience is needed because full training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Help with mobility around the home
• Support with medication administration
• Assist with household duties such as cleaning and vacuuming
• Prepare and cook meals
• Support residents with daily living skills and promote independence

Required profile

• No experience required; full training is provided
• Patience, a sense of humour and good listening skills
• Ability to think on your feet in a role where each day is different
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check
