Night Care Assistant – Residential Care

About the role

Join Agincare as a Night Care Assistant in Frome, providing compassionate support to residents during evening and overnight shifts. You will help maintain a safe, comfortable environment while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

  • Offer companionship, communication and engagement to residents.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and oral hygiene.
  • Prompt, assist or administer medication and topical treatments.
  • Support meal preparation, feeding and hydration.
  • Perform light domestic duties, including cleaning and tidying.
  • Aid mobility to encourage independent movement.
  • Organise and accompany residents on social activities and outings.

Required profile

  • Minimum 12 months legal right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to work night shift patterns (14:00‑20:00 or 20:00‑08:00) on a full‑time or part‑time basis.
  • Availability to work alternate weekends.
