Night Care Supervisor

About the role

Join Avery Healthcare as a Night Care Supervisor at Barnet Grange Care Home. You will lead a small team during the night shift, ensuring that every resident receives safe, person‑centred care while upholding the highest standards of dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support the night‑time care team, ensuring compliance with Avery policies and procedures.
• Promote high‑quality, person‑centred care and monitor residents’ daily progress.
• Record all observations, interventions and medication administration accurately.
• Address resident or relative concerns promptly and courteously.
• Provide ongoing support to residents, families and the wider Care Services team.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in health or social care.
• Recognised medication administration qualification with practical experience.
• Previous experience in a senior care role, preferably within a residential setting.
• Proven ability to organise, lead, inspire and influence a team.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of medication administration procedures.
• Ability to document care activities accurately and maintain detailed records.
