Night Export Clerk

About the role

This full‑time night position supports the export function for a busy logistics operation in West Drayton. You will work Monday to Friday from 19:00 to 03:00, handling export documentation and liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and complete export files to the required standard.
• Ensure full compliance with export documentation instructions.
• Manage the shared mailbox and respond to customer queries.
• Liaise with the warehouse, import department and commercial department to support operational flow.
• Assist in the reception and receiving area when needed.
• Check, complete and file CDS records and related customs documentation where applicable.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of bond checks (desirable).
• Familiarity with NES, ASM GEMS and CDS requirements (basic knowledge acceptable).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Completion of Aviation Security Certificate Level CO (training provided).
