Night Hygiene Coordinator – Manufacturing

About the role

Greencore is seeking a Night Hygiene Coordinator to join its Warrington manufacturing site. Working on the factory floor during the night shift, you will support the Hygiene Zone Manager in ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Assign duties to hygiene staff at the start of each shift and verify accurate hand‑over at shift end.
• Monitor staff adherence to working time directives and shift schedules.
• Provide resources and training to hygiene operatives, developing programmes for new starters.
• Conduct end‑of‑shift hygiene audits and ensure standards are maintained during production runs and change‑overs.
• Act as the Hygiene Zone Manager in their absence, overseeing the team’s performance.

Required profile

• Experience working in a hygiene or food‑safety environment within manufacturing.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team on a night shift.
• Strong organisational skills to plan duties and manage hand‑overs.
• Willingness to work a 4‑on/4‑off pattern (17:30‑05:30).
