Night Hygiene Operative – £15.37/hr + Overtime Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Night Hygiene Operative to join our Ilminster production site. Working the night shift, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety in a busy food‑production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise production and packing areas each night.
• Wash down machinery and equipment in line with food‑safety procedures.
• Maintain drains, floors, walls and other designated zones.
• Operate power washers and other cleaning equipment safely.
• Follow cleaning schedules, hygiene standards and health‑and‑safety protocols.
• Ensure all workspaces meet required hygiene standards before production resumes.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and a reliable, team‑oriented approach.
• Previous experience in industrial or food‑production cleaning is desirable but not essential.
