Night Nurse (Registered General Nurse) – Full‑time

About the role

As a Registered General Nurse (RGN) working night shifts in a Barchester care home, you will look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents, creating a safe and supportive environment while making critical clinical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored care plans for each resident.
• Administer medication safely and accurately during night hours.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide compassionate, person‑centred care to individuals with diverse physical and mental health needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and support the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Current registration with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical best practices.
• Experience creating comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Dedicated, compassionate and able to work independently during night shifts.
