Night Porter

About the role

As a Night Porter you will provide friendly, efficient customer service and maintain a secure, warm environment for owners and residents in our retirement villages.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver front‑of‑house service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout the night.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks across the village, including occasional care support.
• Clean and test the swimming pool, prepare the pool and club for daytime use.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public and communal areas and manage refuse collection.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and work well under pressure.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with good literacy and numeracy in English.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Positive, tolerant attitude with a flexible approach to shift patterns.
• Warm, professional and empathetic demeanor.
