Night Porter – Village Security & Hospitality

About the role

Inspired Villages is seeking a reliable Night Porter to keep our residential village safe, welcoming and well‑maintained throughout the night. You will be the first point of contact for residents and guests, handling emergencies, answering queries and ensuring all communal areas are clean and ready for the day.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for overnight emergencies, responding calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular patrols, performing security, fire and safety checks.
• Provide a friendly presence for residents, guests and visitors, offering assistance and information.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including the gym, pool, steam room and changing rooms.
• Test and record pool chemical balances, and manage waste collection.
• Assist with first‑aid incidents, evacuations and other emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling customer‑facing or safety‑focused situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to create a welcoming environment while delivering excellent service.
• Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety, COSHH or First Aid are advantageous but not mandatory.
