Night Registered Nurse – Residential Care Home

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Night Registered Nurse to join our team at Earlsferry House Care Home in Leven, Scotland. Working the night shift (19:45‑07:30), you will provide high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to up to 26 residents in a residential, nursing, dementia and respite setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the night shift team, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
• Assess residents’ health needs, develop and review care plans, and administer medication.
• Monitor physical and mental health changes, record accurate observations and documentation.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalating clinical situations.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals and the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision‑making abilities.
• Confidence in leading a shift and supporting a care team.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to person‑centred care.

Required skills
