Night Replenishment Supermarket Assistant

About the role
As a Night Replenishment Supermarket Assistant you will help keep the store shelves fully stocked and ensure customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience. Working the night shift, you will support the store’s operations by handling stock, online orders and maintaining a safe, tidy environment.
Key responsibilities
- Replenish shelves to keep products available and correctly placed.
- Prepare online customer orders for delivery drivers.
- Reduce waste by applying markdowns to items nearing their sell‑by dates.
- Assist with checkout, Click & Collect, and on‑demand customer orders as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area through general shop‑keeping tasks.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Flexible approach to support the whole branch during night hours.
- Interest in food and drink trends is desirable.
- Previous experience in a customer‑facing role is welcomed.
