Night Senior Care Assistant (Female Only)

About the role

This night senior care assistant position supports female residents in a residential care setting, ensuring dignity, privacy and comfort during overnight hours. The role is female‑only under a Genuine Occupational Requirement to provide personal care to women.

Key responsibilities

• Provide companionship, communication and engagement for residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including washing, bathing, dressing and oral care.
• Prompt, assist or administer medication and topical creams as required.
• Support residents with meals, snacks and hydration.
• Carry out light domestic tasks such as cleaning and tidying.
• Help residents with mobility to promote independence.
• Organise and accompany residents on social activities and outings.

Required profile

• Female applicant – genuine occupational requirement.
• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Previous care experience preferred, but training is provided.
• Availability to work night shifts, 42 hours per week, including alternative weekends.
• Ability to provide compassionate, respectful care.
