Night Senior Carer

About the role
As a Night Senior Carer in a Barchester care home you will oversee the night‑time care of residents, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred support while supervising a team of Care Assistants and working alongside the Deputy General Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants during night shifts.
- Support the clinical team with medication administration, assessments, care plans and care reviews.
- Maintain residents’ dignity, preferences and safety throughout the night.
- Help create a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment for all residents.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Specific knowledge of clinical care for elderly residents.
- Compassionate, warm‑hearted and committed to individualized resident care.
