Night Shift HGV Automotive Technician – Glasgow

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is looking for a motivated HGV Automotive Technician to join its Flex‑E‑Rent workshop in Glasgow on the night shift. You will work in a supportive environment where your technical expertise helps keep the UK’s commercial vehicle fleet moving.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of HGVs and specialist vehicles.
• Work with leading brands such as Mercedes, Iveco and Ford.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure they meet safety standards.
• Carry out preventative maintenance inspections and road‑test vehicles.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working on HGVs or LCVs.
• Full UK / Irish / EU Class C or CE manual driving licence.
• Detail‑oriented and proactive attitude towards vehicle maintenance.

Required skills

• Experience with HGV and LCV repair.
• Ability to perform vehicle diagnostics and MOT preparation.
• Valid Class C or CE manual driving licence.
