Night Shift Quality Technician – Medical Device Investigations

About the role

We are seeking a Night Shift Quality Technician to join our Witney laboratory. You will act as a technical detective, analysing returned medical devices to identify root causes and support global patient safety. The role offers a 4‑nights‑on, 4‑nights‑off schedule (7 pm‑7 am).

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on testing of customer‑returned devices and determine why they failed.
• Log findings in Excel and internal systems, tracking quality trends and emerging patterns.
• Collaborate with local and international teams to drive continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare clear, concise investigation reports that meet regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Logical, methodical thinker with a “detective” mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict documentation protocols.
• Completed secondary education with essential Maths and English.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.

What we offer

• £17.19 per hour.
