Night Shift Warehouse & Forklift Operative

About the role

We are looking for reliable night‑shift Warehouse Operatives who can also drive counterbalance or reach forklifts. The role runs Monday to Friday, covering core hours from 4 pm to midnight with overtime possible until 5 am. You will work in an outdoor yard environment handling incoming and outgoing stock.

Key responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance and reach forklift trucks safely to load, unload and transport goods within the warehouse.
• Handle materials manually – stacking, organising and moving stock as required.
• Prepare orders for dispatch and receive deliveries, supporting shipping and receiving processes.
• Maintain accurate records using the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Load and unload vehicles and assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
• Keep the work area clean, safe and well‑organised.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts with a valid licence or in‑house certification.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic inventory procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over long night shifts.
• Previous experience in an outdoor yard or warehouse environment.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
