Night Shift Warehouse Operative

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Night Shift Warehouse Operative to join a leading global manufacturing business in Petersfield. The role runs from 22:00 to 06:00 and offers a night‑shift premium in addition to a competitive salary.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and process incoming goods and accompanying documentation.
• Pick, issue and return raw materials, components, labels and finished goods for production and customers.
• Load, unload, wrap and prepare pallets for internal and external distribution.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks and RF scanning devices.
• Carry out regular cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
• Update warehouse management systems and related documentation.
• Support waste, recycling and scrap management processes.
• Deliver materials to production areas and transfer finished goods to storage locations.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, GMP and warehouse procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and prioritize workload.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic numerical and computer literacy.
• Flexibility to work across multiple warehouse functions.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (licence advantageous, training provided).
• RF scanner operation and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Pallet truck operation.

• £28,990 base salary plus £2,809 night‑shift allowance.
