Night Shift Warehouse Team Leader

About the role

This is a night‑shift supervisory position overseeing the warehouse team from midnight to 9 am, Monday‑Friday. You will ensure that all orders are picked, processed, invoiced and packaged correctly and on time, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the night‑shift warehouse team to meet daily targets.
• Ensure orders are accurately picked, processed, invoiced and packaged.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, liaising with Administration and Sales.
• Plan next‑day delivery loads and manage loading/unloading of vehicles.
• Assist with induction and cross‑training of new and existing staff.
• Manage consumable purchasing within an agreed budget.
• Drive improvements in warehouse efficiency, space utilisation and equipment use.
• Support the Warehouse Manager and act in their absence.
• Apply and audit ISO 9002 procedures and Health & Safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safely organised warehouse environment.

Required profile

• Proven ability to plan and organise workloads for a team.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with Administration and Sales.
• Experience supervising warehouse or logistics staff on night shifts.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9002 quality procedures.
• Familiarity with Health & Safety policies in a warehouse setting.
• Understanding of warehouse management systems (loading, off‑loading, labeling, picking, collections).
