Night Support Worker – Learning Disabilities

About the role

Join Glenholme’s specialist supported living service as a Night Support Worker caring for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will work the night shift (9:30 pm‑7:30 am) providing compassionate, person‑centred care in a safe, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide companionship, emotional support and encouragement.
• Assist with personal care tasks, including hygiene and dressing.
• Promote independent living skills and encourage participation in community activities.
• Support medication management according to care plans.
• Facilitate engagement in leisure outings such as swimming or social events.

Required profile

• Kind, compassionate and empathetic with a genuine desire to help others.
• Patience, a good sense of humour and a friendly smile.
• No prior experience required – training and ongoing support will be provided.

What we offer

• Hourly rate £12.75‑£12.95 with increases after Care Certificate and NVQ qualifications.
• Up to £128 compensation for pre‑start e‑learning.
• Hastee Pay for early salary access.
