Night Team Member

About the role

Join the Ibis Cambridge Central Station team as a Night Team Member, providing a warm welcome to late arrivals and early departures while ensuring smooth hotel operations throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Greet late‑arrival guests and bid farewell to early‑departure guests with a friendly attitude.
• Perform the Night Audit and prepare/distribute relevant internal reports.
• Manage reservation details and accounts for in‑house guests, ensuring accurate records.
• Support hotel operations and assist other departments in preparing for the next day.
• Provide food and beverage service during the night shift.
• Maintain safety and security of guests, respond to requests, and resolve issues promptly.
• Clean and maintain public areas such as the lobby, bar, and staff zones.
• Follow fire safety procedures and assist in emergencies when needed.

Required profile

• Friendly, guest‑focused personality with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work independently on night shifts (10:45 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving mindset, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of hotel and financial security procedures and guest confidentiality.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OPERA Cloud property management system.
• Competency in Microsoft Word.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel.
