Night Trunk Driver – HGV Class 1 (C+E)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver to join our night trunk team in Bognor Regis. The role involves operating articulated vehicles on night shifts, delivering and collecting loads across the UK while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles for general haulage during night shifts.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic records accurately and keep them up to date.
• Maintain accurate records of breaks and working hours in line with Working Time Directive regulations.
• Communicate with customers, clients and operations teams to ensure smooth deliveries and collections.
• Follow agency and client policies, procedures and safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• DP World Card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on the licence.
• At least 1 year of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Good working knowledge of the UK motorway network and Working Time Directive regulations.
