About the role

Join Apollo Home Healthcare as a Night‑Shift Healthcare Assistant caring for a baby boy with complex healthcare needs in a family home in Bedford. You will provide compassionate, child‑centred care throughout the night, ensuring safety, comfort and continuity of routine.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver night‑time care, including reassurance, comfort and specialist support.
• Maintain the child’s bedtime routine and provide nurturing, responsive interaction.
• Assist with clinical interventions such as tracheostomy care, NG feeding, personal care and safe moving and handling.
• Monitor the child’s condition, respond to changes, and create a safe, calming environment.
• Build trusting relationships with the child and family, offering peace of mind.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 months paid UK care experience.
• Caring, patient and reliable attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to complete specialist clinical training.
• Comfortable working in a home with dogs.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Female applicants only – genuine occupational requirement.
