Nighttime HGV Class 1 Driver – Full‑time

About the role

AO.com is looking for a dedicated Class 1 driver to join its night‑shift team. You will operate a heavy‑goods vehicle on 10‑hour night shifts, delivering products safely to one of the company’s 17 UK depots. The role requires punctual, reliable drivers who take pride in ensuring every parcel arrives in perfect condition.

Key responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes during night shifts (Sunday‑Thursday) and deliver goods to designated depots.
• Load and unload items safely, securing cargo to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and electronic tachograph records.
• Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Valid CPC licence and DIGI TACHO.
• No more than six penalty points and no IN, DR or DD codes.
• Excellent spoken English.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Strong time‑keeping and reliability.
