Non‑Medical Prescriber – Barnet Service (Full‑Time)

About the role

Change Grow Live is seeking an experienced Non‑Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join its multidisciplinary team in Barnet. This full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) offers the chance to deliver person‑centred care to individuals with complex physical, mental health, and substance‑use needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment and interventions for service users.
• Prescribe and review medication in line with evidence‑based practice, national and local protocols.
• Prioritise urgent health problems and seek clinical lead advice when required.
• Assess, update and refer service users for BBV vaccination and immunisation programmes.
• Promote healthy lifestyle strategies and support health‑promotion initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with service users, carers and external stakeholders, adapting methods as needed.
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous records in compliance with legislation and policy.
• Participate in self‑ and peer‑review, benchmarking and formal evaluation of care delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified pharmacist with current GPhC registration and at least two years post‑qualification experience, or first‑level registered nurse with a current PIN and at least three years post‑qualification experience.
• Current Non‑Medical Prescriber qualification.
• Minimum one year of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.
