NQ Solicitor – Property and Policy Coverage

About the role

Keoghs LLP, a leading UK insurance law firm, is seeking a newly‑qualified solicitor to manage household and commercial property recovery files for a portfolio of well‑known insurers. The role blends technical legal work with client‑facing activities, including training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Initial case review and reporting
• Managing disclosure and reviewing evidence
• Conducting investigations and instructing counsel and experts
• Legal research and drafting of pleadings, offers and applications
• Attending conferences, trials and ADR sessions
• Liaising with insurer clients and senior claims handlers
• Negotiating settlements and preparing Part 36 offers

Required profile

• Previous experience in a defendant insurance litigation firm
• Specific litigation experience in recoveries, particularly household and commercial
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
• Experience using case management systems
• Professional conduct in line with SRA Standards & Regulations
