Nurse Examiner – Medical Collections Team

About the role

The Nurse Examiner joins the Medical Collections team to provide health screening and sample collection services across the Bedfordshire area. Working full‑time, you will travel to clients’ homes or workplaces to gather medical information for insurance and wellness programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client screening appointments at their location, including medical telephone questionnaires and health checks.
• Collect blood, urine and saliva samples and perform basic physical examinations.
• Allocate and complete tele‑medical interviews when schedule permits.
• Liaise with customers, underwriters and operational staff to promote health and wellbeing.
• Plan, organise and prioritise daily workload and equipment.
• Collaborate with the concierge team to manage appointments and diaries.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and at least 5 years post‑registration experience.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Broad nursing experience with strong medical knowledge and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Computer literate, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
