Nurse Functional Assessor – Flexible Full‑/Part‑Time

About the role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person’s disability or health condition impacts their daily life. You will work on complex cases that involve physical, mental health and chronic pain conditions, providing compassionate assessments that help customers move forward.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments for customers with physical or mental health conditions.
• Analyse how disabilities affect daily activities and produce detailed reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate assessments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records using computer software.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Minimum 1 year of post‑registration adult or mental health nursing experience.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer software for report writing.
