About the role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person’s disability or health condition impacts their daily life. Key responsibilities

• Assess how disabilities or health conditions affect customers’ everyday activities.
• Manage complex cases involving physical, mental health and chronic pain disorders.
• Produce detailed assessment reports using computer software.
• Provide ongoing support and mentorship to customers throughout their recovery journey.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Minimum 1 year of post‑registration adult or mental health nursing experience (NHS or other settings).
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
