Nursery Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team in Leyland. You will work in a bespoke nursery environment, providing high‑standard day care and supporting children’s early learning and development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑standard day care for pre‑school children in a stimulating environment.
• Ensure all legal, safety, and individual requirements are met.
• Foster an inclusive setting that offers equal opportunities for every child.
• Engage children in exciting, educational activities.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and nurturing atmosphere.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Nursery Assistant with NVQ Level 2 in Childcare.
• Strong understanding of child development and early years education.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
