Nursery Assistant (Level 2) – Early Years Educator

About the role

Join a vibrant early years setting as a Level 2 Early Years Educator, delivering a playful learning environment for children in Gerrards Cross. You will work 40 hours per week, supporting the development of the next generation through curiosity, risk‑taking and mindfulness.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the ‘Learning through Play’ ethos across daily activities.
• Design and implement innovative, age‑appropriate learning experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Promote child welfare and ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed.

Required profile

• NVQ/Cache Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, energetic and passionate about early years education.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
