Nursery Assistant - Term Time

About the role
Our client operates bespoke nurseries that provide a warm, stimulating environment for pre‑school children. As a Nursery Assistant on a term‑time basis, you will support the delivery of high‑quality day‑care, ensuring each child’s safety, wellbeing and developmental needs are met.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and play.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Support children with daily routines, including meals, nap times and personal care.
- Observe and record children’s progress, communicating any concerns to senior staff.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to implement individualized care plans.
Required profile
- Fully qualified Nursery Assistant with NVQ Level 2 in Childcare.
- Commitment to providing equal opportunities and meeting legal and safety standards.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
