Nursery Bank Staff – Level 3 – Temporary Supply Role

About the role

This temporary position provides essential cover for an Ofsted‑rated Outstanding nursery in East London. The role is on a supply basis, offering flexible part‑time hours to support staff absences and maintain continuity of care for young children.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Observe and record children’s progress, completing key‑worker reports as required.
• Support children with special educational needs where applicable.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment throughout the day.

Required profile

• Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Active practitioner comfortable moving around an early‑years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience of key‑worker responsibilities, observations and report writing.
• Enthusiasm for working with young children.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Ability to produce accurate observation and progress reports.
• Basic understanding of Special Educational Needs (preferred).
