Nursery Cook – Temporary (Haywards Heath)

About the role
We are looking for a reliable Nursery Cook to join a lovely nursery in Haywards Heath on a temporary basis. The role starts on 3rd June and will initially run for two weeks, with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, home‑cooked lunches suitable for children under five, following the current menus.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Identify and accommodate special dietary requirements for individual children.
Required profile
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Prior experience in a school or nursery kitchen is desirable.
- Enhanced DBS check.
