Nursery Manager – Early Years Leader in Wanstead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Early Years leader to take charge of our premium nursery in Wanstead, East London. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to shape the educational experience of young children while leading a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, manage staff deployment and ensure legal child‑to‑staff ratios.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and supervisions for all team members.
• Model and monitor compliance with EYFS statutory guidelines, health‑and‑safety risk assessments and Ofsted regulations.
• Lead occupancy growth by delivering confident tours for prospective families.
• Act as primary key holder and enforce robust safeguarding policies for children, staff and families.

Required profile

• Full Early Years Level 3 qualification or higher (e.g., Level 5, EYITT, or a relevant degree).
• Proven track record in a childcare management role, running a nursery setting and leading a team.
